Gymnastics and swimming fun all in one class!
Each class begins with a 45-minute segment in the Gymnastics Center where the children, with your help, participate in age appropriate activities that develop balance, coordination and creativity. The second segment is a 30-minute swim that allows your child to become oriented to an aquatic environment and enjoy being in the water.
All levels are offered during each time period and may be
combined depending on abilities within the class.
Skippers Level I - Beginners: Children learn to move through the water, independent of adult support, and learn basic water safety skills. Bubbles may be worn.
Skippers Level 2 - Intermediate: Children learn basic swimming techniques and move toward greater independence. Child should willingly put his & her face in the water. Bubbles may be worn.
Skippers Level 3 - Advanced: Children voyage into confidence, increase endurance and learn swim stroke techniques. Children are creatively challenged and learn more about basic water safety. Children should be wearing only one or no bubbles and should be comfortable in deep water.
