Before & After School Care
YMCA in Greenfield Child Care Programs have provided a fun, diverse, safe, and comfortable environment for kids to learn, grow and thrive for over two decades. At the Y, your kids have a wealth of facilities and activities available daily, plus an option for weekly swim lessons. Ages 5 - 14, for Greenfield and Gill Montague Regional students.
Before School Care is held in the Game Room and includes quiet games, stories and fun. After School Care, also in the Game Room, focuses on a fitness value based curriculum that incorporates physical education, homework help and more. Transportation to the YMCA can be provided from all Greenfield Public Schools, Sheffield/Hillcrest in Turners Falls, and Gill Elementary. All travel arrangements and fees must be confirmed with the Child Care Director. We participate in the State Voucher Program and sliding fees are also available. Priority is given to those registering for five-day options; three-day and two-day registrations are accepted if and when there is a weekly match or available space.

Where Fitness is our Foundation
Children need 60 minutes of exercise or active play everyday. The YMCA can provide that for your child. Every week we offer Dance (hip-hop), Swimming, Kids E2 (age appropriate fitness stations), Rock Climbing, Kid Fit workouts and Gym Games.
Our Child Care programs are Department of Early Education & Care (EEC) licensed. We provide a staff/child ratio of no more than 1:13, and comply with all EEC safety guidelines. We encourage parents to meet our staff and observe our programs.
