BASEBALL SKILLS| 8-12 years
Baseball Skills will teach kids how to catch, throw, and bat in a fun team atmosphere. Formats include baseball, t-ball, coach-pitch and clinics.
The focus of this class is to have fun, meet new friends, play in a non-competitive environment, and get ready for the upcoming baseball season. Whether your child is a beginner or has sights set on the major league, we build a strong foundation where players have fun, gain self-confidence and strengthen skills and teamwork.
SOCCER | 4-5 years
Preschoolers will begin to learn the game of soccer. This fun and stimulating environment focuses on cooperation, teamwork and sportsmanship while challenging developing skills and building self-confidence.
SOCCER | 6-8; 9-10 years
Kicking, passing and dribbling is taught to younger and newer players, while coaching advanced players to bring their skills to the next level, learning defensive and offensive strategies and advanced passing and dribbling techniques.
BASKETBALL SKILLS & DRILLS | 4-5 years
For our youngest players, we focus on introducing the game of basketball and basic ball handling skills like passing, dribbling and shooting.
BASKETBALL SKILLS & DRILLS | 6-8; 9-12 years
Children at this level continue to develop basic skills and begin to learn the rules of the game. The primary focus is on offense and ball handling and shooting technique. Teamwork is also emphasized in this age bracket and passing, shooting and defensive skills are strengthened.
KIDS KUNG FU | 6-12 years
The YES! (Youth Empowerment & Safety) Program offers a unique approach to martial arts education which inspires confidence and kindness in every child. Children will learn to value and respect themselves and others through the practice of self-awareness, movement, martial arts and anti-bullying education.
INTRO TO TAE KWON DO | 6-12 years
This 8-week Martial Arts class is for children focusing on basic Tae Kwon Do techniques including physical exercise that builds strength, agility, coordination, while enhancing self-esteem as well as fun! Social Room, 5 spots only.
HEALTHY KIDS CLASS | 6-12 years
Parents can sign their children into the Game Room starting at 4:45 pm so that they can participate in their own workouts or Group Ex classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. At 5:10 pm the class will move to the Gym for a 30 minute active class followed by a 20 minute instr ucted KidFit workout. Your children will then be brought to the Game Room to be picked up by you after your workout. This is a terrific way for families to get the most out for their time at the Y. In addition, families who attend the Y together (adult workouts and kid workouts) will be eligible for a $10 off coupon for future Youth Sports Classes by attending at least 12 Tuesday/Thursday workouts during an 8 week session.

GYM BABIES (with parent) | 6-36 months
Exploring how your body can move, building spatial awareness, and socializing with other young ones are all skills we discover and develop in this instructor-led class. Each class begins and ends with circle time for music, movement, and learning about milestones. The middle is filled with an open gym set up to explore. Caretakers of all varieties can enjoy this playful learning experience with the young children in their lives. Combine with any Water Discovery/Exploration class for a discount.
JUST 3’s (with parent) | 3 years
Kids move away from free play to the structure of a gymnastics class, while still allowing parents and children to learn and play together. Includes stretching and basic skills taught in stations.
PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS | 3.5 - 5 years
Activities are age/ability appropriate and designed to be a fun intro to the sport. Performance will be held in December. Parents MUST remain in the Mezzanine during child’s class.
BEGINNER GYMNASTICS | 5 - 12 years
Beginning gymnastics classes encourage strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance for your child. Increased self esteem and body awareness are extra benefits! Formerly Rollers & Swingers
INTERMEDIATE GYMNASTICS | 5 - 12 years
Intermediate gymnastics classes for the next level of skills. Gymnastics staff will determine if your child is ready for this level based on the skills they present in class. Formerly Kippers & Flyers
ADVANCED GYMNASTICS | 5 - 12 years
This is the class for gymnasts who want to build advanced skill sets without the pressure of competition. Ideal for those phasing out of intermediate classes or retiring from gym team. The 2 hour time slot will include a mix of instruction and open skill work.
SUPERHERO TRAINING | 4 - 6 years
Class for kids to come and role play as they gain strength, agility, and self confidence. Fly through the air, jump over tall obstacles, balance above the city, flip into the pit of doom and come out the other side a true superhero!
PARKOUR I | 7 - 10 years
This is a great class for younger kids / kids coming out of the Superhero Training class. Emphasis on conditioning for strength and endurance while learning Parkour basics.
PARKOUR II | 11+ years
Older kids start building on Parkour with flipping and twisting, jumping, scaling, and crazy courses only you can imagine!
NINJA CHALLENGE COURSE | 5 - 14 years
Come and train to be a “Ninja Warrior”. Blaze a trail all your own with the various equipment on the Mezzanine, run up the warped wall, try the floating steps, climb the peg board. and more!
Offered for kids to get that extra attention they need to achieve success. If it has to do with gymnastic skills, we can help. By appointment only. M $25 for 30 min • NM/PA $40 for 30 min
The right fit for kids who can’t stop using your house as a gym. This hour and a half program has strength and flexibility conditioning, and more skill preparation to become a better gymnast or a member of the Tumbling Tigers Gymnastics Team. Convenient days and times make it easy to come once or twice a week. *Child must be invited by a coach from your classes*
YMCA TUMBLING TIGERS GYMNASTICS TEAM
Competitive team is a great experience for sports and life. Confidence, body awareness, social interaction, and how to deal with frustrations are all taught on team. We are here for each young athlete, helping them to become the best person and gymnast they can be.
Our goal is to make gymnastics accessible to all who want to try. Financial assistance is available on a first-come first-serve basis for those who qualify.

ADAPTIVE AQUATICS FOR KIDS
To serve individuals with special needs we offer this program. Each swimmer must be accompanied by family, friend, or volunteer in the locker room and pool. Registration and medical forms are not needed. Funded through the United Way of Franklin County.
